Blocbear is built by Kyle, a volunteer treasurer who inherited two boxes of paper HOA files and built the system the next volunteer deserves. Public marketing speaks to boards and residents as a community hub, not a collection agency.

- Flat pricing: $29/month for the whole neighborhood (not per door)
- Online dues: ACH bank transfers only (~0.85% processing); checks and Zelle can be logged manually
- Meetings & Polls: email one-click votes; winning dates on the in-app calendar
- Compliance hub: deadline countdowns and reminder emails (14d, 7d, morning-of when scheduled)
- Exterior Requests, Courtesy Notices, HOA doc requests for real-estate closings
- Residents claim homes via invite or neighborhood list; bank linking only required to pay online
